Be a  F.A.N. Feed A Neighbor

This year, when we come to your home to do the safety and maintenance inspection on your home heating system – we would appreciate it if you could take a minute and look through your kitchen to see if you have any non-perishables that you either won’t be needing or just have extra to help feed a hungry neighbor.  For several years we have supported various Fayette & Coweta County food banks.  This year we understand they are again struggling to feed the many local families that rely on these organizations’ help and support to feed our neighbors, their children, and senior adults.  If you have the ability and the desire to help a local family in need please let the Powers employee at your home know that you have something to give and they will collect it from you while at your home. We will send it to the local charities on a regular basis.  We will also be collecting food donations at our office for those of you who wish to deliver the donation personally.  This is strictly on a voluntary basis and no one should feel compelled to make a donation.  We are certain that some of our clients may be those that are in need.  And, because we know that some of our clients wish to help but do not know how except when they are approached; we want to make it easier for everyone who has the desire to make a difference.
